Crohn's, colitis, intestinal
bleeding, anal fistulas problems.
You are here because you are suffering from one of the most painful and
potentially devastating conditions that has reached epidemic
proportions.
I encourage you to read every line of this page and to
take the steps you need to take to gain control of these disorders with
a view to conquering them. I will work with you throughout this page.
If you don't readily find what
you're looking for, just drop me a note.
Let's begin.
-
Abdominal pain, often in the
lower right area.
-
Rectal bleeding,
-
Weight loss, and fever may
also occur. Bleeding may be serious and persistent, leading to
anemia.
Children with Crohn's disease may suffer delayed development and
stunted growth.
-
Chronic Pain
-
Nausea
-
Diarrhea
-
Depletion of immune system
leaving victim vulnerable to many other diseases including
life-threatening diseases.

Crohn's disease causes inflammation in the small
intestine. Crohn's disease usually occurs in the lower part of the small
intestine, called the ileum, but it can affect any part of the digestive
tract, from the mouth to the anus. The inflammation extends deep into
the lining of the affected organ. The inflammation can cause pain and
can make the intestines empty frequently, resulting in diarrhea.
Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD),
the general name for diseases that cause inflammation in the intestines.
Crohn's disease can be difficult to diagnose because its symptoms are
similar to other intestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome
and to another type of IBD called ulcerative colitis. Ulcerative colitis
causes inflammation and ulcers in the top layer of the lining of the
large intestine.
Crohn's disease affects men and women equally and
seems to run in some families. About 20 percent of people with Crohn's
disease have a blood relative with some form of IBD, most often a
brother or sister and sometimes a parent or child.
Crohn's disease may also be called ileitis or
enteritis.
What causes Crohn's disease? Believed
to be genetic. However, genetics play only a role.
Theories about what causes Crohn's disease abound,
but none has been proven. The most popular theory is that the body's
immune system reacts to a virus or a bacterium by causing ongoing
inflammation in the intestine.
People with Crohn's disease tend to have
abnormalities of the immune system, but doctors do not know whether
these abnormalities are a cause or result of the disease. Crohn's
disease is not caused by emotional distress.
What are the symptoms?
The most common symptoms of Crohn's disease are
abdominal pain, often in the lower right area, and diarrhea. Rectal
bleeding, weight loss, and fever may also occur. Bleeding may be serious
and persistent, leading to anemia. Children with Crohn's disease may
suffer delayed development and stunted growth.
Popular treatments.
Treatment may include drugs, nutrition supplements,
surgery, or a combination of these options. At this time, treatment can
help control the disease, but there is no cure.

Important Read.
What I have discovered in all the emails and phone calls I have
received: Crohn's is an epidemic. While I know that Crohn's is mainly genetic,
from what we have been able to accomplish, do not believe that Crohn's
is purely genetic.
Secondly, from listening to my clients, 95% of their game plan for
controlling this condition is doomed to failure because their
nutritional regime is too weak, blood circulation is too weak, and
prescription drugs are too strong and don't really provide more benefits
than the problems they create.
In my opinion, Remicade is a horrifying drug... When I first
researched this drug, I was horrified by the fact that there were as
many law firms representing victims of the drug as there were people
selling the drug. That is not a good sign.
Read Report carefully below:
Remicade (Infliximab) is an immune-suppressing product
manufactured by Centocor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson &
Johnson, which has been approved by the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration for
the use for Crohn's disease and rheumatoid arthritis. Remicade is a
worldwide market share leader among tumor necrosis factor alpha
therapies and is the only biologic drug indicated for the treatment of
both Rheumatoid Arthritis and Crohns' disease. Specifically, Remicade ,
in combination with methotrexate, is indicated for use in patients with
moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis who have had an
inadequate response to methotrexate alone. It is also approved in
patients with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease which have
had an inadequate response to conventional therapy and for the treatment
of patients with fistulizing Crohn's disease. Since its introduction on
August 24, 1998, Remicade has been prescribed to over 230,000
individuals.
Although Remicade has been touted as a
miracle product, it is a potent product that has been associated with
such serious and debilitating side effects as tuberculosis,
histoplasmosis, listeria sepsis, invasive fungal infections, lymphoma,
pneumocystosis, seizures, multiple sclerosis, lupus, serious infections,
and heart failure, and death. Patients have neither been warned
adequately of these risks nor of their severity.
Since its approval in August of 1998,
the warnings regarding using Remicade have changed in response to these
serious side effects. In August 15, 2001, a "Black Box
Warning" was added to Remicade 's label warning that tuberculosis,
invasive fungal infections, and other opportunistic infections, have
been observed in patients receiving Remicade and that some of these
infections have been fatal. Additionally, the following warning was
added to the package insert: Cases of histoplasmosis, listeriosis,
pneumocystosis and tuberculosis, have been observed in patients
receiving Remicade . For patients who have resided in regions where
histoplasmosis is endemic, the benefits and risks of Remicade treatment
should be carefully considered before initiation of Remicade
therapy."
On October 5, 2001, Centocor sent
health care professionals a letter warning them tuberculosis, and other
serious opportunistic infections including histoplasmosis, listeriosis,
and pneumocystosis, have been reported in both the clinical research and
post-marketing surveillance settings. Some of these infections have been
fatal. The letter refers the healthcare professional to the August 15,
2001 revisions to the labeling for Remicade including the Black Box
Warning. According to the manufacturer, at least 84 cases of
tuberculosis had been reported in patients using Remicade .
Less than a week later, on October 18,
2001, a second drug
warning was sent to Healthcare
Professionals warning them not to initiate Remicade therapy in patients
with congestive heart failure, to discontinue Remicade in patients whose
congestive heart failure is worsening and to consider discontinuing
Remicade in patients with stable congestive heart failure. Centocor
provides in this letter that "Upon review of preliminary results of
its ongoing phase 2 trial in 150 patients with moderate to severe (NYHA
class III-IV) congestive heart failure (CHF), higher incidences of
mortality and hospitalization for worsening heart failure were seen in
patients treated with Remicade , especially those treated with the
higher dose of 10 mg/kg. Seven of 101 patients treated with Remicade
died compared to no deaths among the 49 patients on placebo."
On January 2002, the FDA, based upon
adverse drug reactions reports, issued a warning about serious nervous
system problems involving demyelinization, MS and other conditions,
associated with the use of Remicade .
Centocor, currently warns that there
are reports of serious infections, including tuberculosis (TB) and
sepsis and that some of these infections have been fatal.
Now... Would I take this drug? NOT IN THIS LIFETIME!
a) The side effects of Ramicade PLUS the number of web sites
devoted to legal action against doctors who prescribe Ramicade seem to
support that the side effects of this drug may be worse than the
illness.
b) Medical, Prescription Alternatives to Ramicade may be just as bad.
Now... this is my best
recommendation based on what has shown to work best.
What follows is an integrated approach to successfully
fighting intestinal disorders. This approach is not rocket science. Your
health at whatever level it is at is a result of how you've integrated
all aspects of your lifestyle to date. This is just a more effective,
more intelligent approach. And, it works!
a) Get an ultra sound done on your complete gastro-intestinal system.
This is a must first step. Simple case in point but not the
only consideration: you really need to know if the
colon has dropped and has become impacted. This
can be extremely serious!!!!!
So, get the ultra sound done.
b) Now, in all likelihood, you have
never been told to do a thorough colon cleanse. Bottom line is: all
major illness usually begins in your colon. In fact, you will find that
the condition of your skin, your hair, most respiratory problems begin
by an over-impacted colon.
If your colon is impacted and
not distended, use a colon cleanse product. By and large, we all carry a
certain amount of fecal material in our colons. When impacted, some of
this matter leeches back into our blood system where this toxic material
gets into our brain and our eyes our skin, even our hair along with other organs.
An impacted colon causes your liver to
malfunction and puts undue strain on your kidneys. These, in turn, cause
every cell in your body to store toxins in the hope that someday your
system will come back into balance and allow these toxins to by purged
from these cells. So, not only are you doing your colon good, you are
helping it even more by purging your entire system from sending it more
and more toxic waste to store.
Fecal matter must flow smoothly and
quickly through your system not just for your colon's sake, but, as you
can see, for your over all health.
You will see an instant weight loss
and a pulling in of your tummy and your skin will show a more youthful
glow as your colon cleanse progresses. Believe me, you have no idea!
What I have found is that common
laxatives are not the preferred remedy for impacted colons. While they
'work', they also can do more harm.
My recommendation: the 7-Day
Colon Cleanse program. It is
affordable. And, it works.
Note: One of the signs of an impacted
colon (but it can be signs of other conditions as well) is a large 'gut'
below your belt. Most of the time we pass it off as fat. But... You
really should have it checked. If it's an impacted colon, you could be
doing yourself some very serious harm each and every minute of the day
and night. Have it checked.
c) Create a regime of intestinal, colon
rejuvenation, and reduction of inflammation in the intestinal track. Use something
that not only does the job but which is truly gentle to your system. For
this purpose, I strongly recommend Gastric Gold.
The list of the benefits of Gastric
Gold and it's prime Aloe Vera
formulaic base are beyond the small scope of
this report. What gets my attention is the intestinal wall
repair and
assistance in promoting nutritional absorption. But, it's important that
you read it yourself. Please, do click the link and read carefully how
it will help you or someone you love.
Things I would definitely stay away from are the prescription drugs
and the over-the-counter 'laxatives'. Most are not safe and gentle
as advertised.
d) Diet. Everybody is different.
And, everybody's level of advancement of these disorders is different.
And, many people have multiple disorders such as diabetes or heart
problems, etc. To make a blanket statement that would effect everybody
is likely to be more damaging than productive.
Because of that, I suggest that you
get a complete battery of blood tests, the ultra sound mentioned above,
or an MRI, and have a serious sit down with your physician to determine
the severity of your intestinal disorder and if it is being complicated
by any other disease or medical condition. It very often is.
What I have learned is that pills
by their very nature for other ailments often aggravate the soft,
inflamed tissues of the intestinal walls of Crohn's patients causing
serious discomfort and more inflammation.
What next?
Start with high-fiber, low-fat diet. Keeping your intestines and colon healthy is critical.
Lots of natural fiber cleanses the body, removes toxins, and helps dilute, bind, and deactivate many carcinogens.
In addition to fiber and fiber supplements (below) make sure your diet consists of these high fiber foods: whole grain cereals and flour, brown rice, all kinds of fresh
brans, most fresh fruits, dried prunes, nuts, flaxseeds, beans, lentils, peas, and fresh raw vegetables - organic as much as possible. (Leave skin on apples and potatoes. ) Coat skinless chicken in corn bran and oats before baking. And, add extra bran to cereals and breads. Eat low
carb, high vegetable, high protein diet. Keep fats and oils out of your diet. And, stay away from high-fat milk and cheeses as these only worsen diarrhea.
Avoid all caffinated products (most soda pop), soft drinks and spicy foods. These only aggravate the intestinal walls while depleting your system of vital nutrients.... most of the supplements you're taking.
e) Powerful nutritional support.
Okay. our system is clean and staying clean. You now have a diet plan
that you have started and will continue to refine to your specific
circumstances. Not all people have exactly the same situation. So, you
have to be ready to monitor what works for you and what doesn't.
Most dieticians are patched into
the pharmaceutical industry to some measure or other. Most of their
stuff is mildly productive or just plain counter productive. Been there.
You have to grab and maintain control of what works for you based on
your own experiences.
My experiences with most of you
online over the last few years is that the best nutritional supplements
must be gentle, powerful and well balanced, fast and as complete as
possible absorbing, and pay particular attention to the brain and the
eyes.
I have been embroiled in the
constant debate over what vitamins are best and why or why not. And, the
battles don't seem to have a clear definition other than to suggest that
the over-the-counter stuff at your department store or pharmacy are
borderline useless.
With intestinal problems of any
kind, nutritional deprivation to the brain and the eyes is a constant
and can be extremely serious in advanced cases. So, because of the
demands not being met by diet and most over-the-counter stuff, it is
imperative that you be far more attentive to what you add to your diet
as vitamins or nutritional supplements.
So, what I have found works best is
a liquid multi-vitamin with an excellent high potency track record and
which targets, besides the whole body, the brain and the eyes. Have a
quick look here.
Very affordable. In the end, it's your health and your choice.
f) Exercise. What I mean here is just
a
one-half hour to forty-five minute brisk walk each and every day.
Reason? By walking briskly you are forcing your body to move fresh
nutrients through your body and into each and every cell. This in turn
helps to flush out toxins from those cells.
Considering that your intestinal
walls are cells, too, you want to keep your blood circulation maximized and thus
help what you put into your gastric system to be better used because of
a healthier gastric / intestinal system.
If you haven't worked out in a
while, get a few friends together and get tested for your fitness level.
Then, go for it. You'll feel a ton better.
I realize that everybody is
different. What you have read is what we experience almost daily from
memos from people just like you. And, what you have read is a
synoptic response that seems to work best for them. Even if they
don't do the colon cleanse, they all start with Gastric
Gold. It's quick, it's
effective, and it's very comfortable on the colon.
I hope this page has given you the
starting blocks you need for a healthier, more comfortable life. If
you didn't readily find what you're looking for, just drop me a note.
