and cure: Here
Anything I say anywhere on this site is
purely what I have been experiencing as my diabetes is eating its way
through my body. I was once an extreme diabetic! Very extreme. Everything
we did, we had to do quickly and effectively as most of my organs were at
risk of shutting down.
I speak to diabetic groups regularly to
show people what you can do if you have the right game plan and the
determination to win. So, if you're diabetic, I know where you are coming
from. And, if you are 'border line' diabetic, you are diabetic!
Now, when or if I endorse something, it is because, at least for me,
it works. It may or may not work for you. Plus, when I use something,
or if any of my gang use something it is only after a lot of proven
research.
If you think it will work for you and you
decide to try it, that is entirely your own choice. If, however, it is
something that I am certain will NOT work for you, I will not even mention
it anywhere on this site. Disclaimers aside, if you're diabetic advanced
version Type II like me, you will want to know what I am doing to win the
battles. And, maybe together we can win the war.
Diabetes is both a
silent killer and a socially acceptable killer.
And, no, I am not going to preach to you like all those others who have
been diagnosed with a life-changing or life-ending disease.
Then,
all of a sudden these people who wouldn't give their disease and the
people suffering from it the time of day let alone a donation to its
possible cure, jump on the band wagon and petition the government for more
aid in finding a cure.
Do you
really think that a politician is going to push any cause that doesn't
discomfort them directly? Get real.
Besides,
the only reason you are at this site is either because you have just found
out that you have diabetes and it's serious enough for you to panic or you
know someone else whose life is on the line and you are trying to
help.
I think you've come to
the right place.
People who have
diabetes and don't know it, and that's about three times the twenty-two million
North Americans who actually do (and, you think AIDS is an epidemic!),
pass off the symptoms as just growing old.
Most
people think of diabetes as some innocuous and only rarely harmful disease
that affects only certain people and especially those who abuse themselves
someway somehow. And, unfortunately, there is nothing you can say to any
of these people even when you know they are on a collision course with
real-time disaster. There is nothing I can do for them. Neither can
you.
But, for you and for that
person you are now finally truly worried about, that is why this site
exists.
Okay... the journey to
where we are today.
Three years
ago, I was hit with an episode that killed off my professional career.
Foot neuropathy and a rapid degeneration of muscle in my legs made it
impossible for me to continue as both a business development specialist
(one of the world's best) and public speaker.
I
was not overweight. I ate reasonably well. And, I exercised regularly.
But....
Within six months, I got
the muscles working again and a lot of the leg pain subsided. My wife
and I made up a concoction of some pretty good lotions and ointments.
These worked really well.
But, the
feet pain and dry skin got worse. My sugar levels were still somewhere
in the upper atmosphere.
I went on
medication... lots of them. Some were just as bad as what they were
supposed to cure. So, I stopped taking those.
I
tried several miracle cures that didn't do anything for me. But, I
started applying the ointments to my feet. And, with the medication and
the ointment, much of the neuropathy pain started to subside. And, my
skin cleared up really well.
Now,
the only problem was the blood sugar.
So,
continuing with the medication at a reduced amount to reduce the side
effects, I began taking Diamaxol™,
It was guaranteed (like all the others that didn't work for me). So,
what ta heck. It works.
I
can report to you today that my blood sugars are near normal for the
first time in nearly twenty years. I take my medications though I doubt
that I really need them. I am more energetic again... which is very
important to an ex-athlete. And, I can only recommend it for you as I do
for me and for all site visitors.
Since
I speak now to groups on the subject of diabetes, almost as a poster
child of what can be done about diabetes, I recommend it to my
audiences.
Now, if you have
diabetes and you think you are somehow immune to what it absolutely will
do to you in the not-too-distant future, good luck!!!
Keep
stuffing away those potatoes, the plateful of pasta and a mountain of
breads. Keep chomping on chips and fried chicken. But... in the
meantime, start walking around the house with a blindfold on tight and
bare feet with your floor scattered with broken glass shards. That is a
good start to what is ahead for you. Diabetes will make
you pay a horrific price for stupidity today!.
To Summarize what
I always do and what I always recommend to my groups.
1) Get complete blood work done
immediately. Make sure that you get your eyes checked by an ophthalmologist
quickly as well. This is not negotiable. Really.
2) Diet. Every body is different.
And, every body's level of advancement of this disorder is different.
And, many of us have multiple disorders such as diabetes and heart
problems, etc. To make a blanket statement that would effect everybody
is likely to be more damaging than productive.
However, for diabetics, diet is often a major cause of
the problem and must be nor only brought under control on the front end,
but you should have your diet monitored a couple of times a year by a
competent dietitian.
But, again, make sure that s/he targets your specific
circumstances. And, accept what s/he says with the understanding that it
is still up to you to monitor the effects of everything you eat to
determine what works and what doesn't work for you. It is not an exact
science.
3) Powerful nutritional support. You now have a diet plan
that you have started and will continue to refine to your specific
circumstances. Not all people have exactly the same situation. So, you
have to be ready to monitor what works for you and what doesn't.
Most dieticians are patched into
the pharmaceutical industry to some measure or other. Most of their
stuff is mildly productive or just plain counter-productive. Been there.
You have to grab and maintain control of what works for you based on
your own experiences.
What works? Whatever your glucometer
score says works!
My experiences with most of you
online over the last few years is that the best nutritional supplements
must be gentle, powerful and well balanced, fast and as complete as
possible absorbing, and pay particular attention to the brain and the
eyes.
I have been embroiled in the
constant debate over what vitamins are best and why or why not. And, the
battles don't seem to have a clear definition other than to suggest that
the over-the-counter stuff at your department store or pharmacy are
borderline useless.
Nutritional deprivation to the brain and the eyes
(important to diabetics) is a constant
and can be extremely serious in advanced cases. So, because of the
demands not being met by diet and most over-the-counter stuff, it is
imperative that you be far more attentive to what you add to your diet
as vitamins or nutritional supplements.
So, what I have found works best is
a liquid multi-vitamin with an excellent high potency track record and
which targets, besides the whole body, the brain and the eyes. Have a
quick look here.
Very affordable. In the end, it's your health and your choice.
4) Exercise. What I mean here is a
one-half hour to forty-five minute brisk walk each and every day.
Reason? By walking briskly you are forcing your body to move fresh
nutrients through your body and into each and every cell. This in turn
helps to flush out toxins from those cells.
If you haven't worked out in a
while, get a few friends together and get tested for your fitness level.
Then, go for it. You'll feel a ton better.
The alternative is not pretty! Start
exercising now.
I realize that everybody is
different. What you have read is what we experience almost daily from
memos from people just like you. And, what you have read is a
synoptic response that seems to work best for them. You may well
be an exception. There are lots of them.
So, that's it. You have diabetes. It
is a life altering, life ending condition. It will not go away. And, it
will create a level of misery you will absolutely regret if you don't do
something concrete about it right now, right this minute.
I have dealt with hundreds of people
directly with diabetes. I have not known one of them who has ignored it
and won. But, I know dozens who have ignored it and lost ... big time!!!
Start right, right here... now. Check out Diamaxol
